Mahendragarh, 23.07.24-An Expert Lecture was organized on 'Importance of Hindi Language in Sapta-Sindhu Region' at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh. In this lecture organized by the Department of Hindi, former Vice Chancellor of Central University of Himachal Pradesh and Vice President of Haryana Literature and Culture Academy, Panchkula, Prof. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri was present as the keynote speaker. The program was presided over by Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CUH. On this occasion, Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, was also present on this occasion.

Prof. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri said that Sapta-Sindhu is the soul of the country. Hindi is continuously playing an important role in study of Sapta-Sindhu. Prof. Agnihotri discussed about the region of Sapta-Sindhu (seven rivers), the culture, civilization and tradition associated with it. He said that Sapta-Sindhu region has been an ancient and important region which was the main centre of development of culture, civilization and language.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that Hindi is the pride of Hindustan. Due to this language, unity and uniformity is seen among all Indians. He said that along with technological development, language has also developed and technology is playing an important role in the promotion and propagation of Hindi.

The welcome speech was given by Prof. Bir Pal Singh Yadav, HoD, Department of Hindi while the introduction of the keynote speaker was presented by Dr. Siddharth Shanker Rai. Dr. Kamaraj Sindhu presented vote of Thanks. On this occasion, faculty members, research scholars and students from various departments were present with Dr. Kamlesh Kumari, Dr. Arvind Singh Tejawat, Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr. Reena Swamy.
