CHANDIGARH,28.01.2025-The NSS unit of the Post Graduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh in collaboration with the Traffic Awareness and Road Safety Society of the college organised a talk on Road Safety for the students and faculty of the college to mark the National Road Safety Month. Principal of the college, Professor J.K Sehgal and Vice Principal Professor Sneh Harshinder Sharma graced the occasion.The Expert and Officials from Traffic Police, Mr. Bhupinder Singh ASI, Mr.Rajender Singh (ASI) and Mr Jagroop Singh, Head Constable delivered interesting talks highlighting the value of obeying traffic rules and responsible driving. An interactive short movie and a documentary was also screened for the students.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Professor Sehgal emphasized that road safety is a shared responsibility and we all play a crucial role in preventing accidents and ensuring our safety on the roads. There is a need to make conscious efforts to prioritize road safety by creating awareness, he added.
The event was organised by Dr. G.C Sethi , Convenor Road Safety and Traffic Awareness Society and NSS Program Officers, Dr. Sidharath Kumar, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur and Dr. Kulvinder Brar.
