Chandigarh, Jan 4 – Haryana Government would prepare software of Human Resource Management System (HRMS) for employees of all public undertakings on the pattern of state government employees.
        This was disclosed in the 8th meeting of all Administrative Secretaries held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Mr. D.S. Dhesi, here today.
        The Chief Secretary directed the administrative secretaries to ensure linking data of employees of all public undertakings with HRMS within seven days after preparation of the software.
        Mr. Dhesi also reviewed the centrally sponsored schemes and directed the officers to monitor the funds being received from the centre and report to the Finance Department by timely utilising the funds.
        The Chief Secretary directed the Administrative Secretaries to make required amendments in service rules of their departments concerned within 10 days, for recruitment to Group C and D posts.
          He said that the Department would amend the service rules at its own level and the amendments would be made after getting them verified by the LR. He said that middle pass would be the minimum qualification in the departments where knowledge of Hindi or English was the minimum qualification for recruitment to Group-D posts whereas in those departments where it was matriculation or ten plus two pass, it would remain as such.
        It was informed in the meeting that in order to provide required skilled man power for industrial development, there was a scheme to engage 15,000 apprentices in government departments, boards and corporation under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, by January 31, 2018. Under this scheme, various departments have so far given information of 7,878 vacant posts and 1,714 apprentices have been appointed. It was also informed that soon applications would be invited for this in the third phase.
        Mr. Dhesi also directed to update the e-SamikSha portal.
