Ayushman Bharat Scheme

Chandigarh, September 18 - Ayushman Bharat Scheme, which will be implemented to provide free treatment facilities to poor families up to Rs five lakh, will come into effect from September 23. The scheme will be launched nationwide by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi from Ranchi and on that same day, state wide function would be organised in Karnal.

This was informed by the Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Mr RR Jowel, in a Video Conferencing with the Deputy Commissioners at Chandigarh.

He said that the Governor, Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya, the Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal and Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij will be present in the state-level function. In other districts, the Ministers, MLAs and officers will remain present.

Mr. Jowel said that on September 23, the national launch programme of Ayushman Bharat Scheme will be relayed in all the districts of the state through web link. The address of the Prime Minister will be relayed through the web link.

He told that the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Scheme have been identified and they are now being given a Golden Card to avail the benefits of the scheme. The beneficiary will have to go to a nearby government hospital with his Aadhar Card, Ration Card copy and mobile number to get themselves registered. Mr. Jawal said that all civil hospitals located at the district level have been registered under this scheme. Apart from these, the hospitals located at sub-division level have also been registered. He said that private hospitals are also being registered. So far, 122 private hospitals in the state have been registered under this scheme.

On this occasion, the Haryana Mission Director, National Health Mission, Mrs. Amneet P. Kumar, said that to bring the benefit of the Ayushman Bharat scheme near to the homes of the beneficiaries 500 health centers of the state will be converted into Health and Wellness Center, which would provide 12 essential health services.

Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani

Chandigarh, Sept 18 – Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani has registered 62 Unfair Means Cases (UMC) in the Haryana Open School September 2018 senior secondary (CTP/STC/Partial Improvement/Full Improvement/Additional) examination of Political Science subject.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Board said that the flying squad of the Chairman made surprise inspection at examination centres in district Bhiwani where examination was going on peacefully whereas the flying squad of the Secretary caught one case of UMC during surprise checking at the examination centres of districts Gurugram and Panchkula.

He said that the flying squads of the Chairman made surprise inspections in all districts and 36 cases of UMC were caught in districts Ambala, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Sonipat and Palwal. He said that the Rapid Action Force has caught nine cases and other flying squads have caught 16 UMC cases.

Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that 350 posts have been created in Food and Drugs Administration


Chandigarh, Sept 18 – Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that 350 posts have been created in Food and Drugs Administration on which recruitment would soon be made. This would strengthen the system to check adulteration in food items.

Mr. Vij said that after implementation of the Food Safety Act in 2011, there were only 10 Food Safety Officers working in the state which was causing barrier in conducting proper check throughout the state. But the present State Government took this matter on priority and started process for creation of posts. The Finance Department has approved the creation of these posts which would soon be filled.

The Health Minister said that today raid was conducted on a hookah bar in Panchkula from where nicotine was recovered. Taking strict action, the Department has got registered a case in this matter. He said that operating a hookah bar is not allowed in the state and if anything of that sort is found, action would be initiated.

The Health Minister said that AAP is a political party which no one takes seriously. He said that Party is always known for irresponsible actions.

He said that in Rewari gang rape case, the State Government has constituted 20-25 separate teams which have been working to nab the accused. Apart from this, Mr. Vij has also sought the CCTV footage of former Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda and MLA, Mr. Karan Dalal in connection with this case, for investigation. Thereafter, appropriate action would be initiated, he added.

Haryana Women and Child Development Department has invited applications for the recruitment of 13 posts of various categories for State After Care Home

Chandigarh, September 18: Haryana Women and Child Development Department has invited applications for the recruitment of 13 posts of various categories for State After Care Home and Special Home Sonipat by September 20, 2018.

While giving details an official spokesperson said that the applications could be filled upto September 20, 2018 on the prescribed performa available at the department website www.wcdhry.gov.in.

He said that the applications for the post of Counsellor, Paramedical Staff, House Father, Cook, Helper, House Keeper required for State After Care Home Sonepat could be submitted to the District Programme Officer, Rohtak Road, Railway Flyover, Sonepat by September 20,2018.

Similarly, the application for the post of Probation Officer or child welfare officer or Case Worker, Counsellor, House Father, Paramedical Staff, Cook, Helper, House Keeper could be submitted to the District Programme Officer, Special Home, ITI Chowk, Sonepat by September 20,2018.

He said that the selected candidates will be called for the interview as per the fixed date. All these posts will be filled for a period of one year on contract basis, he added.

Sportspersons who have either played for Haryana at the national level or is domicile of Haryana would only be considered eligible for these posts.

Sportspersons who have either played for Haryana at the national level or is domicile of Haryana would only be considered eligible for these posts.

While giving details Mr Vij said that those sportspersons who had played for competitions including Olympics, Para-Olympics, Asian Games, Asian Para Games, Commonwealth Games, (Para Sports), World Championships organized once in 1 or 2 or 4 years, IBSA World Games, Deaflympics, World University Games, Asian or Commonwealth Championships organized once in 1 or 2 or 4 years and special Olympics at senior level are eligible for these posts. Sportspersons who have represented any other State or Union Territory at the National level will not be eligible for these posts.

The age of the applicant should not be less than the age specified for the appointment to the post (as per the rules of the Haryana Government) and not above 50 years on the date of receipt of valid application. Applicants should send their signed applications neatly typed in the prescribed form i.e. Form I for individual event and Form II for team event along with the required documents through the National Sports Federation duly signed by its President or Secretary General.

Haryana Government would conduct Online Centralized Combined Counselling for admission to ANM, GNM, MPHW (M) courses

Chandigarh, Sept 18 – Haryana Government would conduct Online Centralized Combined Counselling for admission to ANM, GNM, MPHW (M) courses in government and private nursing schools in the State for the academic session 2018-19. The detailed process explaining the procedure for admission can be downloaded from the website www.dmerharyana.org.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Haryana Nurse and Nurse-Midwives Council said that under first round of admissions, the candidates can get themselves registered up to September 25, 2018 by 11:59 p.m. The merit list would be displayed on September 28. The candidates can give their preference or choice filling of institution or course for the first round of counselling from September 29 to October 1 by 11:59 p.m. The provisional online allotment of the institution or course would be done on October 5. Document verification of eligibility and original documents, and last date of joining the institutes and fee deposition would be from October 6 to 8.

He said that under the second round of admissions, the institutes would declare vacancy from October 9 to 11 and vacant seats would be displayed on October 12. Preference locking, choice filling of institution or course by the candidates for the second round of counselling would be held on October 13 and 14. The provisional online allotment of the institution or course would be done on October 16. Document verification of eligibility and original documents, and last date of joining the institutes and fee deposition would be from October 17 to 19. Declaration of vacancy by the institutes and display of vacant seats for the Mop Up round would take place on October 22.

The spokesman said that the portal would be opened from October 15 to 20 for fresh registration for Mop Up Round of counselling and merit list would be displayed on October 23. He said that the list of students would be forwarded in order of merit to the colleges on October 25 and the last date of joining is October 30, 2018.
