REGISTRATION FOR ALL BOILERS

Chandigarh, July 19 – Haryana Industries and Commerce Department has directed all boiler owners in the state that it is mandatory to get registered boilers which has water capacity of more than 25 litres, pressure if one kg per square centimetre and temperature 100 degree.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that It is responsibility of the owner to get its registered because running boilers without registration, is punishable under the Boilers Act 1923 and the boiler owner will be responsible for any untoward incident.

He advised the boiler owners to hire only the recognized Boiler Erector for installation of the boiler. According to the Indian Boiler Regulation, 1950, IBR material should be used for boiler steam pipelines and its authentic certificate should be taken from the seller. Apart from this, as per the Indian Boiler Regulation, 1950, all documents should be taken from the boiler seller at the time of payment and before starting the boiler, submit all documents in the Department.

He also informed that it is the responsibility of the boiler seller to give all documents to the buyer while selling the boiler and also inform the Boiler Department else he will also be responsible for any accident along with the owner.

The spokesman advised boiler owners to operate boilers only in the presence of Boiler Attendant or Boiler Operation Engineer. To avoid scale, clean boilers regularly and use soft water, he added.

Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today asked Industries to train the workforce according to their needs and employ them in their units

Chandigarh, July 19 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today asked Industries to train the workforce according to their needs and employ them in their units. This will help in providing employment to the unemployed youth of the state.

Mr Manohar Lal was interacting with the Industries Partners of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) at Gurugram today. He said that providing employment is a regular process and on an average about 2 lakh youth add every year who demand jobs. The government can provide 40,000 to 50,000 jobs in a year, so other rest of the job seekers are to be adjusted in Industries. He said that the state government has opened SVSU, which is first of its kind in the country, which help in upgrading the skills of the youth here. Now it is providing skill upgradation training in 31 courses.

He said that usually it is said that though the youth in Haryana is educated but they are not skilled as per the requirement of the industry. So, the Industries should come forward in providing them training as per their requirement and absorb them. Mr Manohar Lal was of the view that providing employment opportunities to the unemployed is equally important as unemployment brings frustration in the youth, which can divert them towards anti social activities. He added that state government has started ‘Saksham Portal’ where data of unemployed youth is uploaded and the industry should first give preference to the youth registered on that portal, so that a message goes that the registration on portal carries significance and all others who are left out also register themselves. The state government is incentivizing those industrial units set up in Zone C and D as per Industrial Policy of the state, who provide employment to the youth of Haryana and is paying Rs 3,000 per candidate for a period of 3 years.

He said that under the Saksham Scheme, the state government was earlier paying a sort of pocket money to the post graduates and later on graduates were enrolled. Now 10 plus 2 pass would also be enrolled under the scheme. The allowance is paid for 3 years. Mr Manohar Lal said that after the implementation of GST, the state only looks for job aspect from the industry.

He sought suggestions from the Industrialists present there and assured that their suggestions useful to promote employment to the youth here will be considered. He also told about the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Center (HEPC) stated for facilitating the industries and said that all NOCs, Consents and approvals concerning 17 departments were being given through single window system within 45 days, otherwise it will be considered deemed approval.

Mr Manohar Lal also honoured the industrialists for their support in improving the skills of the youth and proving them employment.

Earlier, the Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Mr. Devender Singh said that this dual system of education has also been started in Industrial Training Institutes where students learn and take hands on training in the industries. He also appealed the industries to make Haryana youth Industry ready and industry relevant’ who can be suitably placed in industry. The Vice-Chancellor, SVSU, Mr. Raj Nehru told about the activities of the university.

Recruitment rallies for Indian Army will be organized for youth in different districts of Haryana

Chandigarh, July 19 – Recruitment rallies for Indian Army will be organized for youth in different districts of Haryana from July 20 to 30, August 20 to 30, September 5 to 15, September 20 to 27 and October 9 to 18, 2019.

While giving information in this regard, a spokesman of Haryana Sainik and Ardh-Sainik Welfare Department said that recruitment rally for youth of Mahendragarh, Bhiwani, Rewari and Charkhi Dadri will be organized in the Rao Tularam Stadium of district Rewari from July 20 to 30. Similarly, recruitment rally for the youths of Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Panchkula and UT Chandigarh will be organised at Tejli Stadium of, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar from August 20 to 30, 2019.

He said that recruitment rally will be organized for youth of Hisar, Sirsa, Jind and Fatehabad districts at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Hisar from September 5 to 15. Similarly, recruitment rally for the youth of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan will be organised at Kharga Stadium in Ambala Cantonment from September 20 to 27. He said that recruitment rally will be organized for the youth of Rohtak, Sonipat, Jhajjar and Panipat districts at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex in Rohtak from October 9 to 18, 2019.

The spokesman said that guidelines have been issued to the Heads of different departments and Deputy Commissioners to ensure smooth conduct of these recruitment rallies so that there will be no problem related to law and related arrangements during recruitment rally. He said that various steps have been taken to ensure the recruitment rally to be fair and transparent. Apart from this, clear message has been given to touts, who try to sabotage a fair recruitment process, that they will be dealt with severely as per law.

He said that youth will be encouraged to join the Indian Army through the ex-servicemen at the local level. He said that as per the requirement of the recruitment organization, assistance in terms of infrastructure, security, deployment of resources and manpower will also be taken at district level. He said that anti-doping test can also be conducted on suspected candidates. Apart from this, there will be provision of drinking water, electricity, ambulance and doctor at the rally venue.

The spokesman said that to conduct the Common Entrance Examination, the assistance of the concerned administration will also be taken as per the requirement.

Chandigarh, July 19 – Haryana Government has approved the project proposal for the component of Risk Management under the Sub-mission of Livestock Development in order to insure 10 lakh animals of the State under the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Samoohik Pashudhan Beema Yojana’ during the year 2019-20.

A State Level Executive Committee (SLEC) meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Chief Secretary, Mrs. Keshni Anand Arora regarding the approval of Annual Action Plan 2019-20 for funding under National Livestock Mission (NLM) for the year 2019-20, here today. The scheme will be implemented in all the districts of the State as an economic security measure to the livestock farmers of the state. The Haryana Livestock Development Board is the implementing agency of the Scheme.

The Chief Secretary said that a proper mechanism should be developed by the Department and the Insurance Company in order to settle maximum claims of the livestock farmers.

It was informed in the meeting that the funding pattern of the National Livestock Mission is CSS 60:40 State Share. The total outlay of the scheme would be Rs. 71.79 crore and out of which the Govenment of India NLM share would be Rs. 24 crore including Rs. 14.40 crore and Rs. 9.60 crore as state share.

As per the scheme, there is a target to insure 10 lakh animals of the State wherein, the beneficiary has to pay just Rs 100 as an insurance premium for each large animal and Rs 25 as an insurance premium for each small animal such as sheep, goat and pig for one year. One beneficiary can insure maximum of five large animals for Rs. 100 each and 50 small animals for Rs. 25 each. In case of Scheduled Castes beneficiaries, the insurance of their livestock would be free for all their animals.

Haryana Government has decided to upgrade various health centres in the state.

Chandigarh, July 19 – Haryana Government has decided to upgrade various health centres in the state. Under this, many new posts have also been approved. Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that following the proposals of Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij, the Finance Department has approved these proposals with the permission of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal.

While stating this information here today, the Finance Minister said that approval has been given to open Primary Health Centres in village Sarsa of district Kurukshetra, in village Samana Bahu of district Karnal and in village Karamgarh of district Jind. The Chief Minister had made these three announcements. He said that 30 new posts have also been approved for these three centres. Among these, seven posts of Class IV will be filled on contract basis under the Outsourcing Policy Part 1. He said that new buildings will be constructed for three health centres and till then they will be run in temporary buildings.

The Finance Minister said that approval has also been given to open a Sub-Health Centre in village Dhawana of district Rewari has been approved for which three posts have been approved. He said that the Finance Department has also given approval to open Ayurvedic Dispensary in village Nahri of district Sonipat for which five posts have been approved. He said that an Ayurvedic Dispensary has been approved in Jat Dharamsala at Arya Nagar of Sonipat for which six posts have been approved.

Capt Abhimanyu said that under CM announcements, approval has also been given for opening of veterinary hospitals in Kharak Ramji of Jind and Sihri Singleheri and Laharwadi of Nuh. Six posts have been approved for both. A sum of Rs.1.04 crore has been approved for the construction of these buildings, he added.

A Bus Port will soon come up in Sonipat

Chandigarh July 19: A Bus Port will soon come up in Sonipat as the Haryana Chief Minister; Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal to allot an institutional plot measuring 8.86 acres in Sector-7, Sonipat at the rate of Rs 21,600 per square meter.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Bus Port at Sonipat is the first-of-its Kind project.

The spokesman said that Chief Minister has also approved the proposal regarding the expansion of existing Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) Murthal, Sonipat and conducting Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes in the institute with due approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Now, the proposal would also be submitted to Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India in this regard.

Haryana today organized ‘The India Korea Golf Meet’ at Gurugram

Chandigarh, July 19 - Haryana today organized ‘The India Korea Golf Meet’ at Gurugram where Trade & economic co-operation was discussed over a Game of Golf. Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal was the chief guest who assured the Korean investors of all support from the state government.

While addressing the participants of ‘The Meet’ at Gurugram, he said that Haryana is witnessing plethora of expression of investments interests coming from Korean companies, hence it becomes all the more important for Haryana to maintain this healthy relationship. Mr Manohar Lal expressed his gratitude towards Korean investors for reposing their faith in Haryana and sought continued preference and investments from them for the State.

He said that in order to make Haryana land of another industrial revolution, number of reforms have been unleashed. Haryana ranks first in North India and third in the Country in “Ease of Doing Business” in the ranking conducted by World Bank. “Red tapism has been replaced by red carpet and industries are being provided facilitation in all possible way. Haryana’s Single Window System to provide industrial clearances have been recognized as one of the best system in India”, asserted the Chief Minister.

He said that Haryana is bursting with opportunities in sectors such as IT/ITES, Agro and food processing, healthcare and medical education, skill development, electronics hardware manufacturing, textile and apparel, defense and aerospace, mass rapid transport.

He said that Golf is supposed to be a game of precision and same precision is required in making the investment decision, a precise and well balanced decision help firm to grow leap and bounds. He reminded the South Korean investors that both India and South Korea have traditionally been close to each other for centuries. In recent years, India and Republic of Korea have made great strides and has become truly multidimensional, sparred by the significant convergence of interests, mutual goodwill and high level exchanges.

Talking about the present era of trade protectionism, Mr Manohar Lal said, effort by both the countries to take the relation to next level is highly appreciable, the testimony of the fact is that recently launched policy by South Korea government “New Southern Policy” (NSP) attached primacy to strengthening the country’s economic and strategic relations with India. It was for the first time that South Korea has clearly designed a foreign policy initiative for India and officially documented it. He said that Haryana hosts numerous multinational companies of Korea such as Hyndai, Lotte, Doosan Power, Samsung etc and about 3000 Koreans have found here a home away from home. “Korea has played a very significant role in strengthening the industrial eco-system of Haryana and established us as an automobile hub of the country”, said Mr Manohar Lal.

He said that Haryana is a land of opportunities and enterprise. It is counted among the most developed and industrialized states in India and is the leading manufacturer of cranes, excavators, cars, two-wheelers, footwear, scientific instruments etc. Mr Manohar Lal told that Haryana has the highest per capita income amongst the larger States in India and the State GDP (at current price) is growing at the rate of about 12 per cent annually. The manufacturing and services sectors today contribute about 86 per cent to the State economy. Its economic growth rate has been consistently higher than that of the National growth. The Chief Minister also gave prizes to the winners of today’s golf event and mementos to others.

Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana for Industries and Commerce, Mr Devender Singh welcomed the dignitaries and said that this is first ever event in Haryana to discuss business over game of Golf, the game popular with the Koreans. He hoped that this engagement will go a long way in strengthening the relations between Haryana and Korea.

Mr H C Jeong from Korean International Trade Association (KITA) thanked Haryana for organizing this unique event and said that it is not like usual seminars. He said that India and Korea have bright future. Prime Minister Mr Narender Modi met the Korean President Mr Moon Jae In and both leaders agreed over mutual prosperity and share. They have decided that South Korea would increase its investment in India from present 21.5 US Billion Dollars to 50 US Dollars by 2030. Both leaders agreed to work for removing all barriers in achieving this target. “Presently there are 700 Korean Companies are operating in India and by 2030, India will be home for 2000 Korean Companies. This shows that we love India and expect vice versa”, Mr Jeong added.
