Raj Bhawan staff gives send off to the Governor

Staff of the Raj Bhawan gave emotional farewell to Governor Acharya Devvrat today. In a function organised on this occasion at Raj Bhawan, Governor Acharya Devvrat said that he had received immense affection, respect and recognition from the people of the entire state in the last four years, which he will always remember.

He said that he always worked for maintaining the dignity of the Raj Bhawan along with participation in the welfare activities for progress and development of the state.

The Governor said that he organized various public welfare campaigns in the state in natural farming, cleanliness, water and environment conservation, girls education, social harmony and got huge support from the state government and the people of the region.

Secretary to the Governor Rakesh Kanwar highlighted the work done by the Governor in the economic and social sector of the state and said that these works will give Himachal Pradesh a new direction.

Advisor to the Governor Shashikant Sharma said that the work of Acharya Devvrat as the Governor will always be remembered. He said that all political parties have praised the work of the Governor during this time. He said that the work done by the Governor in the state has also received support and appreciation at the national level.

Khundian Gram Panchayat deputation calls on CM

A deputation of Khundian Gram Panchayat of Kangra district called on the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today. The delegation was led by Member State Executive BJP Kushal Singh.

Chief Minister assured the delegation that government would ensure equitable and balanced development of different parts of the State with special emphasis on those areas which had remained neglected due to one reason or the other. He also urged the people to extend wholehearted support to the government for carrying out the developmental activities so that State could become a role model for other States.
