Chandigarh, 21.04.24- : The Department of Computer Science & IT, DAV College ,Chandigarh organized Techno-Adieu : farewell party for the students of the batch 2021-2024 of BCA to celebrate and reminisce all memorable and loving times together and wishing the outgoing students , the best for the future.
The Chief Guest of the event Principal Prof Rita Jain called upon the outgoing students to believe in their dreams, work hard relentlessly, make excellence their mark and present the best to the world. She wished success to the outgoing students and hoped that the next chapters in their life’s be more graceful and elegant. The fun and celebratory part of the function began with scintillating dance performances by harleen, riya, arun and parthik from BCA-II who presented adrenaline pumping performance on hit bollywood, Tollywood and Kollywood numbers including Lungi Dance and Natu Natu. The fun filled comic filler items made the audience burst into laughter like never before. Dance performance from shruti from BCA- I, Aditi and Manvi, Saloni and Naman, Jiya and Sweety from BCA-III captivated the audience and made them dance with joy.Suraj,Deepak, Aadil, Kuljeet and Sarthak from BCA-III setthe stage on fire by dancing to hit hindi songs from the 90’s.
The outgoing students also honored the faculty members and expressed their gratitude for imbibing them with best of the values and knowledge to be industry ready. A ramp walk session and a question and answer session was organized for the passing out students to select the best of the best and crown them with various titles. Harshvardan Singh was crowned Mr. BCA while Jiya Singh was crowned Miss. BCA. Dr. Harmunish Taneja congratulated the students of third year batch and advised them to always remember that there is no substitute to hard work. with all their learnings at DAV College, they must try to become successful in their career and goid human being for our society. The event ended with a DJ party where everyone danced their hearts out to the Punjabi, Haryanvi and Himachali hit numbers selected on the fly by the DJ. The day turned out to be a memorable experience for the outgoing students. They were wished best of luck for all their future endeavors and a wonderful life with happiness all the way.
