chandigarh,05.05.24-The team of Police Station-19, Chandigarh under the leadership of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur W/SSP/UT and close supervision of Sh. Mridul SP/City and headed by Ms. Palak Goel DSP/East UT, Chandigarh & personally led by Insp. Juldan Singh, SHO PS-19, Chandigarh achieved major success by arresting a thief in case FIR No. 30 dt 04.05.2024 U/S 379 IPC added 411 IPC, PS-19, CHD.

The said case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Dhawal Bhandari S/O Ravi Kant Bhandari R/O # 3320 Sector - 19, Chandigarh in which he stated that he put two iron grills in back side lawn. On 03-05-2024 at about 12-30 PM when Check the said iron grills, but iron grills were not there. Someone has stolen the iron grills.

During the course of investigation, the accused Jatinder S/O Rameshwar R/O # 1139, PH-I, Ramdarbar Chd Age 31 Yrs, Ankur S/O Rishi Pal R/O H No 1881, Ph-II, Ramdarbar Chd Age 24 Yrs were arrested and one iron grill was recovered from the possession of accused Ankur. The disclosure statement of accused Jatinder was recorded in which he disclosed that one iron grill was hidden at Indl Area Ph-1 CHD and one iron grill sale out to Nasib Paper Store Indira Colony Sector 17, Panchkula HR.

Further, during the investigation one iron grill was recovered from Indl Area Ph-1 CHD as well as one iron grill was recovered from Nasib Paper Store Indira Colony Sector 17, Panchkula HR and on the identification of both accused, Kabari Nasib Singh S/O Hardev Singh R/O H No 5/1, Rajiv Colony, Sector 17 PKL Haryana Age 37 Yrs was also arrested. Today on disclosure statement of accused Ankur Rickshaw Rehri was also recovered which was used at the time of incident. Today, all three accused were produced before the Duty Magistrate and sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
