Mahendragarh, 08.05.24-Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh organized a special program on the occasion of International Red Cross Day on 'Keeping Humanity Alive'. The program organized by Youth Red Cross Unit of the University in association with BSG and School of Education. Prof. Viswanand Yadav (Retd.) was the chief guest in the programme. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University, called to follow the path of humanity.

At the beginning of the program, Prof. Dinesh Chahal welcomed the chief guest and participants. He explained the importance of keeping humanity alive. Prof. Vishwanand Yadav said that differences are inevitable but there should not be differences of opinion. He inspired the participants by giving examples of Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela who worked for humanity.

In the second session of the program, students showcased their talent and creativity through poster making competition. In the poster making competition, Sanskar and Surbhi got first and second position respectively and in the slogan writing competition, Surbhi got first, Kajal got second and Reena and Monica got third position.

At the end of the program, Dr. Renu Yadav presented the vote of thanks. She congratulated everyone on the International Red Cross Day and said that the Red Cross is a prestigious institution with its contribution to the work of humanity. Prof. Pramod Kumar was also present on this occasion.
