SHIMLA -9th December, 2024 Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while reviewing the preparedness of arrangements to mark the completion of two years of the present State Government being organized at Luhnu ground in Bilaspur on 11th December and directed the district administration to make adequate arrangements for the mammoth rally. He said that more than 30,000 people were expected to participate in this rally. He said that the celebration would be organized on the theme of 'Vyavastha Parivartan Se Atamnirbhar Himachal'. The administration must make arrangements in accordance with the number of people attending the rally to avoid any inconvenience.

The Chief Minister directed the Bilaspur district administration to make adequate arrangements of vehicles and also to ensure a smooth flow of traffic. He also directed to make appropriate arrangements for potable water, toilet and food items for the people attending the rally.

He said that six new schemes would be launched on the occasion including e-taxi under Rajiv Gandhi Start-up Swarojgar Yojna and Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojna to offer financial assistance to the children of widows to pursue their higher education. He said that H.P. Shiva Project, Him Bhog Atta, Cow Dung Purchase Scheme and transferring of money to those farmers whose naturally grown maize has been procured by the State Government. He said that five Ayush Mobile Vans would also be flagged off. The beneficiaries of Old Pension Scheme and Mukhya Mantri Sukh Ashray Yojna would also be delivered cheques. He said the State Government would also honour freedom fighters during the celebration.

Sh. Sukhu said that in charge of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee and General Secretary of AICC Rajiv Sukhla would be the Chief Guest during the celebration.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr.(Col) Dhani Ram Shandil, Additional Chief Secretaries K.K. Pant and Onkar Chand Sharma, Director General of Police Atul Verma and other administrative Secretaries attended the meeting while Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani joined virtually from Bilaspur.
