Chandigarh, January 26, 2025: Excel Society, Sector 48, Chandigarh, marked the 76th Republic Day of India with great zeal and patriotic fervor. The event, organized in the society premises, witnessed active participation from residents of all age groups, showcasing unity and harmony in the community.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the national flag by Rajnish Sharma, President followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with pride and patriotism. Addressing the gathering, Rajnish Sharma mentioned that Excel Society continues to uphold the spirit of community living and patriotism by organizing such events that bring people together and instill a sense of national pride.

The highlight of the event was a series of cultural performances by children and residents of the society. The program included patriotic songs, group dances, and poetry recitations that beautifully reflected the spirit of the occasion. A special dance performance on "Saare jahan se achchha" by the children received thunderous applause from the audience.

The stage was conducted by SK Dhawan , JointcSecretary who also spoke about the significance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Constitution of India. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to build a progressive and sustainable society. Prizes were also given to the workers of the society.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all the participants and organizers who made the celebration memorable. The residents enjoyed light refreshments, adding to the camaraderie and joy of the day.
