Over 300 saplings of ecologically and medicinally important species—including Rudraksha, Palash, Kadam, Neem, Ashoka, Gulmohar, Tulsi, and Harad—were planted across the college premises. This green initiative was designed to instill a lasting sense of environmental responsibility among students and contribute to the college’s sustainable development goals.

Principal Dr. J.K. Sehgal addressed the gathering, urging students to not only plant but also nurture the saplings, emphasizing the importance of consistent care to ensure their growth. He reiterated the college’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainability, and community involvement.

“This plantation drive is a meaningful step towards cultivating a greener future. It reflects our resolve to integrate environmental consciousness into the ethos of our institution,” said Dr. Sehgal.

The event concluded with a collective pledge by all participants—led by Dr. Sehgal—to continue efforts in environmental conservation and to care for the newly planted trees. The initiative was widely appreciated and is expected to inspire similar green practices within the local community and beyond.
