Chandigarh, October 15- Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij, launched a sharp attack on the Congress Party, saying, “Just as birds fear the dark, Congress fears the RSS, because the RSS works to end their politics of religion and caste.”
He asserted that the BJP government remains firmly committed to ensuring public safety, transparency, and development, and will not be swayed by baseless accusations made by the opposition.

Sh. Vij made these remarks while responding to questions from the media persons today.

Sh. Vij further said that the RSS inspires patriotism, discipline, and selfless service, while parties like Congress engage in divisive politics by creating rifts in society along religious and caste lines. “Those who comment against the RSS are like birds that fear the light and prefer to live in darkness,” he added.

Strict Action Against Drug Trafficking – Vij

Responding to allegations made by Congress leader Randeep Surjewala regarding the spread of drug networks in Haryana, Sh. Vij said that no government in the past has taken as strong and effective action against narcotics as the present BJP government.
He informed that the Haryana Government has established a dedicated Narcotics Control Authority to tackle the issue in a focused and systematic manner. “Since regular police forces are occupied with multiple responsibilities, a special committee has been constituted exclusively to combat drug-related crimes,” he said.

Congress Leaders Lack Understanding of India’s Electoral System – Vij

Reacting to allegations by Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav that the BJP was misusing the police to halt a so-called ‘vote theft campaign,’ Sh.Vij said that Congress leaders do not understand India’s electoral framework. “In India, the process of voter registration and deletion is entirely handled by the Election Commission, and the police have no role in it,” he clarified. “This is an established system known even to the smallest political worker. Such false statements are made only to mislead the public.”

Responding to the statement by the son of the Karnataka Chief Minister, who compared the RSS to the Taliban and called for its ban, Sh.Vij said such remarks reflect the fear of those who are intimidated by the RSS’s ideology of discipline and patriotism. “The RSS teaches patriotism, discipline, and the spirit of selfless service. Its values challenge the politics of those who thrive on dividing society along religious and caste lines. This is why such individuals make baseless and irresponsible comments against the RSS,” he said.
Sh. Vij reaffirmed that the BJP government is unwavering in its mission of public welfare, good governance, and social harmony and will continue to work with transparency and integrity despite opposition propaganda.
