A case FIR No. 122 u/s 318(4) BNS and Section 24 of the Immigration Act has been registered at Police Station Industrial Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Kulwant Singh S/o Sh. Pal Singh R/o Plot No. 120, Phase-I, Industrial Area, Chandigarh. The complainant alleged that Rajesh Sharma S/o Manga Ram Sharma R/o #668, Block-O, Sonipat (HR) cheated him of ₹18,00,000/- on the pretext of sending him abroad on a visa. The accused failed to fulfill his promise and misappropriated the money. Investigation if the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 153 u/s 318(4), 319(2), 338, 336(3), 340(2) & 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Akay Kumar Bakshi S/o Lt. Amolak Ram R/o #127/1, Sector-35, Chandigarh. The complainant alleged that an unknown person cheated him of ₹6,86,786/- by inducing him to invest money through an online investment scheme. Investigation of the case is in progress.
