*Energy Minister Anil Vij lays foundation stone for new building of Gurudwara Baj Sahib in Village Tundli, Ambala cantt*
Chandigarh, January 5- Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij laid the foundation stone of the new building of Gurudwara Baj Sahib in Tundli village of Ambala Cantt today, extending heartfelt best wishes to the Gurudwara Management Committee Tundli and the devotees.
Energy Minister Anil Vij said that the new building will be larger and more grand than the existing one, allowing more devotees to sit inside. Before starting the building construction work, Energy Minister Anil Vij participated in the Ardas and laid the foundation stone. Amidst chants of "Bole So Nihal," the foundation stone of the Gurudwara building was laid with devotion.
Earlier, upon arriving in Tundli village, the President of the Gurudwara Management Committee, Gurmit Singh, and others welcomed him. Minister Anil Vij was also honored by being presented with a siropa.
Gurudwara Baj Sahib Management Committee President Gurmit Singh said that the current building of Gurudwara Baj Sahib is several decades old and small. Now, a new building, larger and more grand than before, is being constructed, and its construction began today.
On this occasion, from Tundli village, Baba Bachittar Singh, Balbir Singh, Raghubir Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Ajeeb Singh, Kulbir Singh, Naib Singh, Dhir Singh, along with Jasbir Singh Jassi, Sudarshan Singh Sehgal, Randhir Singh, Rambabu Yad, Dr. Rishipal, Gurbir Singh, Jasmer Singh, Roshan Singh Barnala, Udham Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Tarvinder Singh Bunti, Gurdip Singh Janetpur, Baldev Singh, Shamsher Singh, Lal Singh, Pal Singh, Balkar Singh, Ratan Singh Tundli, Kulbir Singh and others were present.
