Two persons arrested in Consuming liquor at Public Place

Chandigarh Police arrested Raju Saxena R/o # 377 Shiva Enclave Zirakpur Punjab from near wine shop Sector 20 Chandigarh on 03-01-2026, while drinking and creating nuisance at a public place. A Case FIR No.03 U/S 68(1)B PP Act. & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 19 Chandigarh.Later on accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Alin R/o # 519 NIC Manimajra, Chandigarh from Airtel Building behind IT Park on 04-01-2026, while drinking and creating nuisance at a public place. A Case FIR No.01 U/S 68(1)/B PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh. Later on the accused person bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Theft Case

A Case FIR No 03 U/S 303(2), 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Manimajra Chandigarh on the complaint of Prem Chand R/o # 5060 MHC Manimajra Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away two iron pot stand from complainant house on 04.01.2026. During the investigation the accused Abhishek R/o # 5238/1 MHC Manimajra Chandigarh was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Criminal breach of trust

A Case FIR No 02 U/S 316 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Nikhil Bhardwaj R/o # 3319/2 Sector 40/B Chandigarh against Harvinder Singh R/o # 8325 Sector 125 Sunny Enclave, Kharar Punjab and Manjinder Singh R/o # Kharar Punjab. They took complainant brezza car no CH 01CT4677 on rent 2000/-per day for 20 days on dated 26.06.2025, but in between they sold complainant car. Investigation of this case is in progress.
