CHANDIGARH, 15.02.26-Devika Raj, a lawyer and author of Wording the Heart, introduced “The Poetry Booth” — a mobile literary concept where personalised poems and love letters are written live in public spaces.

Over two days, including a city-wide “Poetry on Wheels” initiative, more than 50 custom poems were written on the spot. The response was overwhelming, with participants describing the experience as nostalgic, intimate, and deeply personal.
Unlike digital gifting, The Poetry Booth revives the art of handwritten expression in a public, interactive format.

Devika now plans to take the concept beyond Chandigarh, expanding it into a scalable literary experience across cities, cafes, wedding events, and cultural festivals.
