A Case FIR No. 28 U/S 304(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # District Sirmaur Himachal Pradesh against unknown driver of Scooty number not known sped away after snatched complainant hand bag containing i-phone 16 pro max, cash Rs 5000/-, Adhar card and others documents from near fruit juice market back side road Sector-22, Chandigarh on 15-02-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One Person arrested in Accident Case

A Case FIR No. 16 U/S 281, 125(A), 105 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-03 Chandigarh against Rahul R/o # Village- Kishangarh, Chandigarh driver of Suzuki S-4 car no. CH-01BX-8827 who hit baleno car no. CH-01BJ 0392 and In nova car no. HR-26DD-6399 and e-rickshaw no. CH-01TE-8449 at Sector-5/8 turns on 15-02-2026. Resultant 5 persons got injured in which 2 injured person admitted in GMSH-16 Chandigarh, one lady R/o # kaimbwala Chandigarh lifted to PGI Chandigarh where duty dr. declared brought dead, Second lady R/o # Kaimbwala, Chandigarh lifted in GMSH-16 Chandigarh and expired during the treatment and Raju R/o # kaimbwala Chandigarh lifted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh later on referred to GMCH-32 Chandigarh and expired during the treatment. During the investigation the accused person was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 25 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Suresh R/o # 115 Sector-21/A, Chandigarh against Vipin Kumar R/o # 879 Rana Niwas Room No. 19 4^th Floor Village- Burail, Chandigarh. Driver of car no. PB-65AR-2361 who sped away after hitting complainant bike no. CH-01-CY-4181 near Sector-33/34 light point on 11-02-2026. During the investigation the accused person was arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating

A Case FIR No. 27 U/S 420, 120-B IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurdeep Singh R/o # 16, Village Khuda Jassu UT Chandigarh and others against Deepak Sharma and others of M/S Shri Ram overseas SCO no. 67, 1st floor & SCO no. 67-79 2nd floor Sector-17/D Chandigarh they cheated with complainant for Rs 7,95,000/- to send him abroad. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber Crime Cheating

A Case FIR No. 26 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh on the complaint of Lady R/o # 535 village Daria, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complaint Rs 8,25,815 /- through investment. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 20 U/S 305, 331(3) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Kapil Chaudhary R/o # 139 State Bank Of India Society Sector-52, Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant cash Rs 2 lakh, 2 Mangalsutra, 2 gold ear ring, 2 gold bangle and one mini set of gold from his house on 09-02-2026.
