Chandigarh Police arrested Badal Singh Village - Rao Ke Hit Firozpur (Punjab). Who was stopped at Naka Sector- 9/10 dividing road using fake no. PB-05-Y-2585 on his m/cycle whose original no. PB-22-U-1611 dated 22-04-2026. A case FIR No. 32 U/S 341(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-03 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Three persons arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Gurdeep Singh @ Lalu R/o # 1452/28 Sector-29/B Chandigarh and Monu Jaiswal R/o # 1854 Deep Complex HalloMajra Chandigarh from near Ruhani Satsang Sector-27, Chandigarh on 22-04-2026 and recovered one Desi Katta & one live cartridges and country made pistol 3 live cartridge from their possession. A Case FIR No. 45 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Mayank R/O # 7 DMC Chandigarh from near Dogra Restaurant Sector-38/D, Chandigarh on 22-04-2026 and recovered one desi katta & two live cartridges from their possession. A Case FIR 56 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Three persons arrested in voluntarily causing hurt

A case FIR No. 65 U/S 190, 191(2), 191(3), 115(2), 126(2), 324(4), 351(2), BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on the complaint of Vikas R/o # 1792 Vikash Nagar Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against Sonu R/o # 32 Bhattha Colony Village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh Jubair Alam R/o # 471 Budanpur Panchkula (Haryana) and other they attack on complainant with wooden stick on 22-04-2026. During the investigation the accused were arrested later on bail out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 58 281, 12(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh on the complaint of girl R/o # Small Flats Maloya Chandigarh against unknown person driver of car no. CH01-BS-4787 sped away after hit the complainant Activa no. CH-01-CJ-1474 and complainant got injured and admitted in GMSH-16 Chandigarh on 20-04-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Chandan R/o Village- Madanpur, Mohali (Punjab) from near opposite side dispensary open ground Sector-56, Chandigarh on 22-04-2026 and recovered 48 nips sokin santra wine from his possession. A Case FIR No.54 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No.55 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Ramesh Kumar @ Sheri R/o # 6344/C Sector-56 Chandigarh from near beat box Sector-56, Chandigarh on 22-04-2026 and recovered 46 nips of umpire no. 1 mota masala santra wine from his possession. A Case FIR No.57 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two persons arrested in Ndps Act.

DCC of Chandigarh Police arrested Manish Kumar @ Shiv R/o # 3 Near Wine Shop Village- Jhampur Sas Nagar (Punjab) from near ziri mandi chowk to maloya road, Chandigarh on 22-04-2026 and recovered 22.66 gram heroin with polythene from his possession. A Case FIR No. 63 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vijay Kumar R/o # C-229 Gali No. 6 Badh Majra Colony SAS Nagar (Punjab) from near Cremation Ground Daddu Majra Pind, Chandigarh on 22-04-2026 at about 09:50 pm and recovered 05.09 gram heroin without pouch from his possession. A Case FIR No. 64 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
