CHANDIGARH, 19.08.26-The Interact Club of BVC in collaboration with Rotary Club Chandigarh organised an awareness session on Environment and Waste Management led by Ms. Smriti Sharma, Information Officer, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, and Ms. Shabana Azam, Secretary, Rotary Club Chandigarh.
The session educated the students on Solid Waste Management Rules 2026, four-way waste segregation, recycling, composting, and adopting daily sustainable practices.
Director Education-cum-Senior Principal, Mrs Vineeta Arora along with the members of the Interact Club inaugurated the installation of a bottle-shaped plastic collection bin under Project Shuddhi.
