 Two arrested under NDPS Act

 

        Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested Deepak Sharma R/o # 486, Sector-6, Panchkula (HR) near Civil Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh and recovered 5 GM Heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 197, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 

        Crime branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Village Gramag, Tehsil Katlu, Distt. Kullu, (HP) near Dev Samaj College, Sector 45, Chandigarh and recovered 160 GM Charas from his possession. A case FIR No. 291, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 

Action against consuming liquor

 

          Chandigarh Police arrested Jaspreet Singh R/o Village Patti VPO Macchipur, Distt. Ferozpur, (PB) from Sector 10, Chandigarh, while consuming liquor at public place. A case FIR No. 152, U/S 68-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Accused later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 

One arrested for Theft

 

A lady resident of Sector 20-A, Chandigarh alleged that Rinku R/o # 2043, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh stolen inverter battery from her house and caught red handed on the spot on 12.08.2017.  A case FIR No. 130, U/S 380, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Accused arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 

 

One arrested for Snatching

Sh. Laxman R/o # 1926, Burail, Sector-45, Chandigarh alleged that a person namely Batta @ Manu snatched away Cash Rs 2300/- and Voter Card from complainant near Shop No. 46/2, Burail, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 290, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later accused namely Batta @ Manu R/o # 840, Village Burail, Chandigarh has been arrested in this caes. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 

Accident

        A lady resident of Adarsh Nagar, Naya Gaon, (PB) alleged that driver of car No. CH01AS-0717 sped away after hitting to complainant’s Activa Scooter No.  PB12T-7372 near dividing road, Sector 8/9, Chandigarh. He was admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 151, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

 

        Sh. Kehar Singh R/o Flat No. 93, Block-6, Mohali (PB) alleged that driver of car No. HR-03R-9824 namely Vinod Kumar R/o # 712, Sector-12 Panchkula, (HR) hit to complainant’s Scooter No.  HR-44D-3322 near light point, Sector 33/34/44/45, Chandigarh on 24.07.2017. He was admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 289, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

 

Obstructed Public Servant from discharging his duties

A case FIR No. 151, U/S 186, 341, 353, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sukhbir Singh, Executive Engg., Chandigarh who alleged that Rahul Kohli, Contractor obstructed complainant and also threatened him from discharging duties at Govt. School, Raipur Khurd & Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 

 

 

 

Burglary

          Sh. Paramveer Grang R/o VCC Consultant Pvt. Ltd. SCO No. 423/424, Sector-35C, Chandigarh alleged that someone stolen  away record files, DVR, laptop, Hard disks after breaking the doors of his office on night intervening 24/25-06-2017. A case FIR No. 268, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

 

MV Theft

        Sh. Rajat Kumar R/o # 3175, Sector 56, Chandigarh reported that someone has stolen away his Motor Cycle No. CH03Z-1783 from parking of Palm Garden, Sec-42, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 269, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

 

        Sh. Vinod Kumar R/o # 516/1, Sector 38A, Chandigarh reported that someone has stolen away his M/Cycle No. CH04A-6769 parked in front of his house. A case FIR No. 331, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
