Chandigarh,19.11.17-Dr Adarsh Kohli has been installed as the President ofThe Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health for a period of two years, 2017-19. IACAM was conceived in 1988 and born in 1990  is the realization of long cherished dream of those mental health professionals who have shown greater commitment to the mental health problems of children and adolescents over long years. This ceremony took place at the 14th Biennial Conference of IACAM, November 2017, Kolkata. The theme of the conference this year was: Positive Mental Health for Children and Adolescents


Dr Kohli is a senior Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the Child and Adolescent Clinic at the Department of Psychiatry, PGI Chandigarh. She has been working for the cause of children since last 37 years and takes keen interest in the clinical and social issues of children. Her areas of specialization include -Learning disorders, ADHD,  Autism, and other psychological  disorders. She is also the recipient of life-time achievement award in Child Psychology,  besides other research and publication awards.
