Chandigarh Nov 21: As a part of the National Cadet Corps Week celebrations which began on Tuesday, an Aero modeling show was organised by cadets of No. 1 Chandigarh Air Squadron NCC at Post Graduate Government  College, Sector 11, Chandigarh under guidance of Mr Daaman, AMI. The students and faculty appreciated the flying models designed by the young cadets of the NCC. 

          Speaking on the importance of NCC in character building, Wing Commander M R Pandeya, CO No. 1 Air Sqn NCC Chandigarh said  “during the course of NCC training, the cadets are adorned with the leadership, discipline and courage”.NCC mainly aims to develop the character and personality of the youth and transform them into responsible citizens.

          The event witnessed exemplary maneuvers feats being performed by mini remote-controlled aero models. The aero models flew in the air and showered flower petals on the audience. Principal Prof BP Yadav and Caretaker Air wing Dr Rakesh Thakur were present and congratulated the cadets.

          The NCC cadets of Chandigarh Air wing have organised many such activities, including awareness campaigns on social media, in the city over the past few months.
