Chandigarh,21.11.17-As a part of “Quami Ekta Week (National Integration Week) celebrations, Directorate of Field Publicity (NWR), Chandigarh is organizing various activities in the region to foster and reinforce the spirit of Communal Harmony,  National Integration, secularism and pride in our vibrant composite culture & nationhood.

On 20th November, 2017, the Field Publicity Unit, Jalandhar of DFP, Chandigarh had organized awareness activities on the occasion of Quami Ekta Week at Govt. High School, Uggi, Jalandhar. Sh. Balijeet Singh, Principal, Govt. High School, Uggi was the chief guest on the occasion. A painting competition was organized amongst the school students to express their thoughts on various themes of National Integration, values of nationhood & communal harmony. National Integration Pledge was also administered to about 300 school students.

Another programme was organized on 21st November, 2017 by the Field Publicity Unit, Amritsar of DFP, Chandigarh at Govt. Senior Secondary School, Nathu Chahal, Kapurthala. Sh. Tejinder Pal Singh, Principal of the Govt. school was the chief guest on the occasion. FPU, Jalandhar organized a drawing competition amongst the school students and a pledge was also administered to school students to reinforce the values of tolerance, co-existence & brotherhood in a multicultural and multi- religious society.
