Chandigarh-15.01.2018-Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) under the leadership of State President Gaurav Goel organised a program on Army Day to pay homage to the martyr's and salute the soldiers of Indian Army at Shastri Market, Sector 22 Chandigarh.

Sh. Gaurav Goel said our soldiers are our real heroes and its a matter of pride for us that we are organising an event in their honour. He said a day is not enough to express our gratitude to our soldiers who are guarding us 24 hours and 365 days. He also said that army is not a profession, rather it is a passion to be ready to sacrifice everything for the nation.

 Area Councillor & BJP District President Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma said that our party and our government is always committed to uphold the dignity and honour of our armed forces. It was only Former Prime Minister Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee who made a decision to transport the body of martyr soldiers of all ranks with due honours to their respective houses.

State Media Secretary Arundeep Singh told that homage was paid to martyrs by lightening candles in front of flex of Amar Jawan Jyoti and the messages of pubic for our soldiers were collected in a box which would be forwarded to the Chief of North-Western Command.

Others present on the occasion were BJYM National Executive Member Amit Rana, BJP Mandal President Kapil Sharma, BJYM General Secretaries Amandeep Singh and Mehakveer Sandhu, State Vice-Presidents Shveta Mahajan, Peeyush Gupta, Ganesh Jha, State Secretaries Abhinav Sharma, Narinder Pal Singh Lubana, Abhay Jha, Vijay Rana, Virender, Minakshi Thakur, Devshree Sharma, Nisha Kalia, State Spokesperson Vikram Bawa, District President Navjeevan Dhaliwal, District General Secretary Tejeshwar Sullar and Anmol Bhardwaj among other BJYM workers.
