NEW DELHI,15.01.18-‘Wonderful Indonesia’ ended the year 2017 with a bang in the Capital city. VITO organised two mall promotion campaigns in December 2017 at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon and at Select Citywalk, Saket, New Delhi. The objective of the Promotion was to directly connect  and interact with the consumers with an aim to promote Indonesia as a destination, its culture, its culinary delights, very similar religious and cultural background, the scenic beauty and visa free entry for Indians and to target the consumers visiting the mall and capitalize on their desire to travel during the festive season, and thereby increasing Indonesia’s market share from India.

During the promotion, there were Indonesian dance performances, which were much appreciated by the visitors. The most interesting part was the the quiz contest,  which the visitors thoroughly enjoyed and the winners won branded caps, t-shirts, paper holders, umbrellas, etc. The Indonesian Pavilion served specialty coffee and traditional snacks from Indonesia. At the end of each day, there was a lucky draw and the winner won a 2N/3D package to Bali. 
Ministry of Tourism, Indonesia, was overwhelmed by the response from the consumers through the day. Sanjay Sondhi, Country Manager, Visit Indonesia Tourist Office (Delhi) was very happy with the initiative during the festive season; he said that the right effort was made at the right time. "It is increasingly convincing that India, especially New Delhi is a very potential market as 65 percent of India's outbound travellers come from New Delhi," said Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya.
