Mumbai,31st January 2018 , NSCI  : Atharva foundation has welcomed the ‘Real unsung Heroes’ of the country on Wednesday, 31st January 2018, by organizing a program named “ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE”. Foundation believes that the growth of a nation depends on the growth of the various sections of its society. This noble thought has lead to flourish itself in every aspect. With the same vision, Atharva foundation has taken a new step to recognize and felicitate Indian soldiers, who are always ready to sacrifice their lives for the nation, so that the citizens can have peaceful nights, through this program.

“ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE”, is one-of-its-kind initiative envisaged and conceptualized by Shri. Sunil Rane, Chairman, Atharva Foundation. Atharva Foundation felicitated these real heroes by unfolding 10 martyrs’ stories of bravery and valour in the presence of eminent personalities such as businessmen, politicians, renowned faces from Bollywood, sports personalities, senior personnel of armed and police forces. The program held on 31st of January 2018 at the Dome, NSCI, Worli.

Atharva Foundation Team under the leadership of Shri. Sunil Rane visited the martyrs’ family in the state of Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Delhi, Panjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh. Shri. Sunil Rane himself along with Col. Sudhir Raje (Rtd) visited the martyrs’ family and interacted with them. The team also visited the directors of state and district Sainik boards in the various states. Atharva Faculty and students’ team visited the village Sainik Takli in Satra, Maharashtra and interacted ex-servicemen and martyrs family in January 2018. On every Sunday in the morning volunteers of Atharva Foundation did awareness campaign for the program. At various colleges awareness events were conducted and motivated youth to be patriotic and invited them for the program. Atharva Foundation Volunteers visited Ganpati mandals, Socities, NGOs to spread the awareness about the program.

The stories of 11 brave hearts has been narrated by renowned personalities such as, Hema Malini, Kapil Deo, Sangita Jindal, Aftab Shivdasani, Sonal Chauhan, Amisha Patel, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rohini Hattangadi, Vikram Gokhale, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ajikya Patel and Sunil Rane.

Families of those 11 brave martyrs’, Late Col. Santosh Mahadik, Late Subedar Surinder Singh, Late Havildar Durna Kant Doley, Late Lieutinant Navdeep Singh, Late Major Satish Dahiya, Late Naib Subedar Chuni Lal, Late Havildar Hangapan Dada, Late Lance Naik Mohan Nath Goswami, Late Major Mukund Vardarajan were present on this occasion and the two living legends, CRPF Chetan Kumar Cheetah and Capt. Varun Singh were also present on this grand tribute to the Indian Soldiers. They all were felicitated by Atharva Foundation and rewarded with rupees two lacs to each family.

The Guests of Honour on this occasion were Captain Bana Singh (PVC), Subhedar Yogender Singh Yadav (PVC), Naib Subhedar Sanjay Kumar (PVC) andLieutenant General Vishwambhar Singh (GOC).

The Chief Guests of the program were Shri Nitin Gadkari (Hon. Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping, Govt. Of India), Prof. Jagdish Mukhi(Governor, Assam) and Shri Devendra Fadnavis (Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra).

Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. Devendra Fadnavis has also announced the reward of Rupees 25 lacs to each of the family of martyrs’.

The Chairman of Atharva Foundation, Shri. Sunil Rane told that the program ‘One For All, All For One’ was unique because it was to create awareness among youth to be patriotic and they should stand by armed forces by knowing their heroic deeds for the country.
