Physical verification of the ‘Beneficiary Led Construction’ vertical under the Pradhan MantriAwas Yojna

Chandigarh, 12th February, 2018: It is for the information of the General public that work relating to the physical verification of the ‘Beneficiary Led Construction’ vertical under the Pradhan MantriAwas Yojna, has been started by the Chandigarh Housing Board. Therefore, the officials of the Chandigarh Housing Board will be visiting the dwelling units of the applicants for the physical survey. Hence, the applicantsare hereby requested to co-operate with the staff of Chandigarh Housing Board and also keep ready the self attested copies of the following documents:-

(a) Aadhar Card (Compulsory);

(b) Voter ID card;

(c) Proof of Permanent Address;

(d) Proof of income or self declaration;

(e) Proof of land/ house ownership;

(f)  Approved drawings of existing construction;

(g) Approved drawings of Area to be constructed/ enhancement to be made;

(h) In case drawing is not available, line sketch of existing structure of less than 30 SqMtr to be made by the visiting JE/AE on the back side of this declaration and request is to be made to the applicant to submit, within 7 days, the drawing of proposed/ existing constructions

(i)Tentative area of the existing house will be worked out by the visiting JE/AE, and the areas so worked out will be mentioned above with the remarks as tentative area.

 This is in continuation of the CHB order No. 342, dt. 26.12.17  wherein Chandigarh Housing Board has allowed its allottees to  retain additional constructions/encroachments  not covered under the approved Need Based Changes

Chandigarh, 12th February, 2018: This is in continuation of the CHB order No. 342, dt. 26.12.17  wherein Chandigarh Housing Board has allowed its allottees to  retain additional constructions/encroachments  not covered under the approved Need Based Changes, for a period of  one year on payment of penalty charges to be paid annually and the allottees are  also required to submit a certificate of structural stability to CHB from a qualified Structural Engineer having ME/M.Tech, registered with the Chandigarh Administration in the interest of safety of the occupants and in the interest of public safety. 

 

It has come to notice that some residents have raised objections quoting various reasons, for the additional constructions made on other floors etc. for which the penalty charges are deposited in the CHB by the respective allottees.              

 

Keeping in view the above and in the larger public interest, it is hereby ordered that no action will be taken in respect of these complaints, in cases where the penalty charges have been deposited by the  allottees, against whom complaints have been made by other allottees. Further, no action will be taken for the show cause notices/notices and the appeal cases, for the period for which the penalty charges are deposited by the allotte
