30 years long pending demand of people of village Hamirpur of district Gurugram, by connecting it with road:Rao Narbir Singh

Chandigarh, September 4- Haryana Public Works Minister, Rao Narbir Singh has fulfilled about 30 years long pending demand of people of village Hamirpur of district Gurugram, by connecting it with road. Since country’s Independence, the village was not connected to any road from any side.

While giving this information, a official spokesman said that district Gurugram is though considered as the leading district of Haryana but even after 70 years of independence, village Hamirpur was one such village which was not connected to road from any side.

This village has about 100 houses and it falls under Wazirpur Panchayat. The people of this village used to go to their village through wazirpur where road was constructed only till the railway line and after which un-mettled road of about half km till Hamirpur. Similarly, the route to village Hamirpur from village Khentawas was of 1.75 km, which was un-mettled and Hamirpur is at .75 km from village Gadhi.

Rao Narbir Singh had got prepared a proposal to construct a new road from Village Khentawas till Village Hamirpur, by Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board.

Approval to revise the pay of teachers and equivalent cadres in universities and colleges following the revision of pay scales of Central Government employees on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Chandigarh, Sept 4 – Haryana Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu has given approval to revise the pay of teachers and equivalent cadres in universities and colleges following the revision of pay scales of Central Government employees on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The Minister said that in Under Graduate Colleges, the pay of principals would be equivalent to the pay scale of Associte Professor, that is, Academic Level 13A with rationalized entry pat of Rs 1,31,400 with the existing special allowance of Rs 2,000 per month. Similarly in Post Graduate Colleges, the pay of Principals would be equivalent to the pay scale of Professor, that is, Academic Level 14 with rationalised entry pay of Rs 1,44,200 with the existing special allowance of Rs 3,000 per month.

He said that the existing pay scale of educationists appointed as principal would be protected. Principals would continue to have lien in their main academic post where they would continue to get notional promotions while they are functioning as principal. After completion of their tenure as principal, they would go back to their academic post and draw salary due in such respective academic posts and would not continue to have the principals’ pay.

INCREASE OF RS.200 EVERY YEAR IN ALL KIND OF SOCIAL SECURITY

Chandigarh, September 4- Haryana Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi said that fulfilling the promise, the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has granted in-principal approval to increase Rs 200 every year in all kinds of social security pensions and allowances. From November 1, 2018, the Old Age Samman Allowance, Widow Pension, Disabled Pension, Ladli Social Security Allowance, and allowances to dwarf and eunuchs would be increased to Rs 2,000 from Rs 1,800.

While giving this information, Mr Bedi said that the decision of the state government would provide 25,96,084 beneficiaries with the benefit of Rs 5192.17 lakh per month. In the four months of the current financial year from November, 2018 to February, 2019, the expenditure on pension is estimated to be Rs. 20768.68 lakh.

He said that at present, there are 15,13,602 beneficiaries of Old Age Samman Allowance, 6,73,629 of Widow Pension, 1,53,789 of Disabled Pension, 33,907 of Ladli Social Security Allowance, 27 of Dwarf allowance and 26 of Eunuch allowance. Their monthly pension would be increased to Rs 2,000.

Similarly, Financial Assistance being given to 2,11,403 destitute children would be increased to Rs 1,100 from Rs 900 per month, and Financial assistance being given to 9,701 Non-School Going Disabled Children would be increased to Rs 1,400 from Rs1,200 per month.

Chander Shekhar, CAO, posted in the office of Administrator, CADA, Panchkula has been given additional charge in the office of Engineer-in-Chief, Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana, Panchkula, while Yashvir Singh posted in the office of Managing Director, Cooperative Sugar Mills, Meham (Rohtak), will also look after the work as CAO in the office of Director, PGIMS, Rohtak.

Chandigarh, September 4 - Haryana would organize “Swachhta Hi Sewa Day” on September 15 under the nation-wide sanitation campaign being organized by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.

While giving details an official spokesperson said that under the postcard writing competition on this day, school students would be encouraged to write postcards to Prime Minster describing their contribution towards swachhta and making commitments for future contributions. The best entries including 3 at school level, 5 at district level and 5 at State level would be rewarded suitably at the respective level after evaluation by the committee setup for the purpose. The best 5 entries from the State would be forwarded to the national level.

The timeline for submitting 3 best school entries to District level is from September 15 to 17, for submitting 5 best District level entries to State level from September 18 to 20 and for submitting 5 best State level entries to National level is September 21 to 24. The award winning entries would be vetted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development after reaching the department latest by September 25, he said.

Setting up Saudamini Centre Siwah in district Panipat at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.45 crore.

Chandigarh, September 4 : With a view to facilitate and empower women, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded approval for setting up Saudamini Centre Siwah in district Panipat at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.45 crore.

While giving details, an official spokesperson said that the multi service resource centre would be set up in Rajiv Gandhi Khel Parisar Siwah which would hold training programmes for skill development and empowerment of rural women. It would also have a library, fitness center and computer centre. The centre would be run in co-ordination with Sports and Technical Education Department of the State.

Police have seized more than 313 kilogram of Chura Post after it arrested a person from district Jind.

Chandigarh, Sept 4 – In yet another drug bust incident, Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police have seized more than 313 kilogram of Chura Post after it arrested a person from district Jind.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that the arrested accused had been identified as Manish, a resident of village Dumarkhan Khurd. During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed that he used to bring chura post from Madhya Pradesh at the rate of Rs 2500 per kg and supply it in Jind, Kaithal and Narwana area on higher rates.

Divulging the details, he said that a team of STF had arrested the accused following a tip-off from an informer and recovered 313.380 kg narcotics. The other accomplice Sukhbir had managed to escape. A case under NDPS Act had been registered against them at Sadar Police Station in Narwana and police is also investigating the source of drug suppliers. He said that Police remand would be sought by producing the accused in the court so that involvement of others in drug peddling could be unearthed.

Meanwhile, Director General of Police, Mr. B.S. Sandhu made it clear that Police would not allow drug peddling in the state and stern action would be taken against those found involved in such incidents. He also urged the people to come forward fearlessly, and share information against the sale, consumption and use of narcotics in the state so as to help the police to completely curb drug menace from the society.

Haryana Police today arrested two gangsters wanted in several cases

Chandigarh, Sept 4 – In a major breakthrough, the Special Task Force (STF) of the Haryana Police today arrested two gangsters wanted in several cases, including murder of a youth congress leader in year 2017.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that a team of STF arrested Sunil alias Lala and Rakesh alias Pradhan, both resident of Nuna Majra from Jhajjar road outer bypass. Sunil carried a cash reward of Rs one lakh whereas a bounty of Rs 50,000 was announced on Rakesh.

He said that STF team got secret information that both gangsters were plotting to commit a big incident of crime in Bahadurgarh. Acting swiftly, STF sleuths nabbed both from under a bridge on Jhajjar road outer bypass. Both wanted in Haryana and national capital region of Delhi, were absconding in a case of ransom and murder since 2017.

It was revealed that they had allegedly killed youth congress leader Monu Joon in year 2017 for not paying ransom of Rs 36 lakh. After the murder, Sunil alias Lala has threatened to kill Ankit Joon, brother of deceased Monu Joon. Atleast 8 cases of kidnapping, attempt to murder, ransom and arms act were registered against them. Anil alias Ganja, brother of Sunil alias Lala, has formed his own gang. Anil alias Ganja is in touch with Manoj Morkhedhi gang, Rajesh Bharti Kranti Gang, Jyoti Baba Najafgarh gang, Lagpuria gang and Anandpal Gujjar gang in Rajasthan and are involved in various cases.

The DGP, Mr B.S. Sandhu congratulated the STF team for their significant achievement to nab both gangsters.

Chandigarh, September 4- Haryana Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij today ordered to suspend and register case against Multi Purpose Health Workers, who are on strike. The State Government has already imposed Essential Services Maintenance (ESMA) Act to deal with problems due to vector-borne diseases.

Mr Vij said that these workers play an important role in dealing with vector-borne diseases but their strike could land hospital in severe situation. The state government has already accepted all their demands, of which some have been sent to Finance department.

These workers could express their protest through any other manner but not through absence from their duty, otherwise, strict actions would be taken against them. Directions have also been issued for videography in this regards, he added.

The Government of India has selected three government schools of Haryana for National Level Awards for Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2017-18

Chandigarh, Sept 4 – The Government of India has selected three government schools of Haryana for National Level Awards for Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2017-18 and Hisar is among the nine top performing districts in the country with highest number of schools qualified for the SVP 2017-18. The Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Mr. Prakash Javadekar would confer the awards to these schools at New Delhi on September 18, 2018.

While stating this here today, Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma said that the SVP was instituted in 2016-17 to recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in water, sanitation and hygiene practices in government elementary and secondary schools. The SVP awards are given at the district, state and national levels. He said that the SVP 2017-18 has been extended to government aided schools and private schools. From the State level award winning schools, 727 schools across the country were in the zone of consideration for the National level awards for SVP 2017-18, of which 52 have been selected. The schools of Haryana which have been selected included Aarohi Model Senior Secondary School (AMSSS), Bhiwani Rohilla, Hisar, AMSSS, Ramgarh Pandwa, Kaithal and Government Primary School, Kirmara, Hisar.

Mr. Sharma said that these schools would be given an award of Rs 50,000 per school as additional school grant to be utilised as per the school grant guidelines for improving sanitation and hygiene, alongwith a Certificate of Recognition. He said that the nine top performing districts with highest number of schools qualified for SVP 2017-18, one of which is Hisar district of Hisar would also be awarded with a Certificate of Recognition.

Food Safety Officers of two districts and eight medical officers for their alleged negligence in collecting samples of adulterated Khoya, paneer, and other milk products from various suspended

Chandigarh, September 4- Haryana Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij today ordered to suspend Food Safety Officers of two districts and eight medical officers for their alleged negligence in collecting samples of adulterated Khoya, paneer, and other milk products from various districts in the state.

The Minister was presiding over a review meeting of the department, here today.

Mr Vij ordered to suspend Food Safety Officers, Prem Singh of Hisar and Shyam Lal Mahiwal of Karnal on finding unsatisfactory data regarding sample collection of adulterated milk products.

He said that during this season, 213 samples have been collected from all districts which included maximum 22 samples collected from Gurugram, 20 from Fatehabad, 16 from Panchkula and Faridabad, 13 from Jind, 12 from Rewari and Kaithal, 11 from Sirsa and Mewat, 10 each from Ambala, Palwal, Sonipat and Yamunanagar.

Narhari Singh Banger, Additional Managing Director, HSIIDC and OSD, Kundli Manesar Palwal Authority, has been given additional charge of Director General, State Transport Haryana and Special Secretary, Transport department, relieving Vikas Gupta of the said charge.

Jaideep Kumar, Secretary, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, has been given additional charge of Additional Transport Commissioner, Haryana.

State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, has carried out equitable development in all 90 assembly constituencies in last four years.

Chandigarh, Sept 4 – Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh said that the State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, has carried out equitable development in all 90 assembly constituencies in last four years. Apart from this, the State Government has also emphasized on completion of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway and development of Metro and other public transportation system in NCR area to meet the transportation need of increasing population.

While stating this here today, Rao Narbir Singh said that 18 new National Highways were declared in the state after November 1, 2014, of which six have been notified. Apart from this, Haryana has also got two Green Field National Highway. During last four years, approval has been given for construction of 2,635 km long roads on 14 National Highways.

The Minister said that the State Government has been actively considering the proposal to develop five new cities of 50,000 hectares each on both sides of 135 km long KMP Expressway.
