Chandigarh, Jan 18 – A delegation of Government Polytechnic Guest Faculty Association today met Haryana Technical Education Minister, Mr Ram Bilas Sharma and presented him their demand charter. The Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education Department, Mr. Anil Kumar was also present on the occasion.

The Minister said that the Government Polytechnic Guest Faculty has demanded the issue of a letter for work and pay for 12 months and also demanded re-appointment of those Guest faculties who were removed. On which, Mr Sharma has directed the officers of the department to review the matter and take appropriate action.

The delegation included Mr Samunder Singh, Ms Ekta, Ms Diya, Mr Balraj and others.

Apart from this, a delegation of All Government Colleges Ministerial Staff Association met the Minister and presented their demands charter. Their demands included sanction of the post of Superintendent in all government colleges, preparing of seniority list of clerical class after 2006, promotion case on completion of five years on Clerical post, promotion on the posts from Assistant to Assistant Superintendent, fresh recruitment for filling up of vacant posts of clerks and by promotion. The delegation included Head of Association, Mr Manish Kumar, Mr Sunil, Mr Ashok, Mr Sunny and Mr Manoj.

The Technical Education Minister assured the members of the delegation that appropriate actions would be taken after reviewing their demands.
