BATHINDA, MARCH 25-Large number of candidates appeared at the one day job fair organised at Punjab Institute of Technology, Nandgarh, a constituent college of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda on Wednesday.

Top companies including Bank of Baroda, SBI Credit Card,, RBL Bank etc. conducted the selection process to shortlist candidates in the job fair.

This drive was held for MBA, MCA, BCA, BBA,, final year students. The students from different colleges as Punjabi University Campus Ghudda, GZSCCET Bathinda and other colleges participated in this job fair. As many as 10 students from MBA, M.Com and BBA and 8 students from MCA and BCA were placed.

Director PIT, Nandgarh, Director, Dr. Balwinder Singh Sidhu said that the job fair was the real exposure of rural area students to the IT industry and banking sector. He said, “Job fairs are right platform for youngsters to grab job opportunities being offered by companies.”

Dr. Veerpal Kaur Maan, Dr. Pritpal Singh Bhullar, Er. Yadwinder Singh, Mrs. Nisha Gupta and Mrs. Manpreet Dhaliwal played key role in organising the event.
