Chandigarh August 19: Haryana Governor, Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya and Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of former Bihar Chief Minister Dr Jagannath Mishra who breathed his last in Delhi today after a prolonged illness. He was 82.

While expressing his condolences, the Governor said that Mr Jagannath Mishra was an able administrator, a seasoned politician and a scholar of economics. His demise is major set up to politics of the country especially Bihar.

In his condolence message, Mr Manohar Lal described Mr Jagannath Mishra as an eminent politician and educationist who has made outstanding contribution not only in the politics of Bihar but of the country also. He said that following the demise of Dr Jagannath Mishra, the emptiness that has come in the political, social and education sector of not only Bihar but of the country is very difficult to fill.

He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty that the departed soul might rest in peace.
