Dr. Matta Ravi Kiran, Inspector General of Police, State Vigilance Bureau, Headquarter has been posted as Director of Investigation in Haryana Human Rights Commission, Chandigarh.

Additional Charge

Chandigarh, August 19- Haryana Government has given additional charge of Managing Director, Cooperative Sugar Mills, Shahbad to Sushil Kumar-1, Managing Director, Cooperative Sugar Mills, Sonipat, with immediate effect.

Mohammed Shayin, Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd and Managing Director, Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd, has been posted Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd and Secretary, Power Department. He will also look after the charge of Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Department.

In Haryana, now Class 12th pass applicants can also register under Saksham Yuva Scheme being run by Employment department of the state government

Chandigarh, August 19- In Haryana, now Class 12th pass applicants can also register under Saksham Yuva Scheme being run by Employment department of the state government. Earlier, only postgraduate and graduate unemployed youth were included in the scheme for providing them unemployment allowance and honourarium. So far, 92,519 graduates and post graduate eligible applicants have been financially benefited under the scheme.

While giving this information, a spokesman of the department said that the scheme was launched on November 1, 2016 for postgraduate unemployed youth and later, it was expanded to graduates. Now, it has further been expanded to include Class 12th pass unemployed youth of the state, who could also register online on department’s portal https://hreyahs.gov.in. Unemployment Allowance of Rs 900 per month and additional Rs 6,000 as honourarium would be given to eligible applicants for maximum 100 hours of honorary work per month.

He said that the applicants should have passed Class 12th examinations, as regular student, from any recognized school affiliated to Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani, Central Board of School Education (CBSE) Delhi and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Board, Delhi, situated in Haryana and UT, Chandigarh only. Applicant’s age should be between 18 to 35 years, he added.

Haryana Police in separate cases has arrested three drug peddlers and seized 500 gram of opium, 4 kg 400 gram of poppy husk and 800 prohibited pharma pills from their possession in district Fatehabad.

Chandigarh, Aug 19 – Haryana Police in separate cases has arrested three drug peddlers and seized 500 gram of opium, 4 kg 400 gram of poppy husk and 800 prohibited pharma pills from their possession in district Fatehabad.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that in the first case, a team of Crime Investigation Agency arrested Dalbir, a resident of Mahemra from near a marriage palace on the charges of possessing 500 gram of opium. He was nabbed near a marriage palace during patrolling.

The second arrest was made by Thana Sadar Police where they arrested a motorcyclist identified as Balwinder alongwith 4 kg 400 gram of poppy husk. He was arrested from near village Aharwan.

In third incident, Special Staff team has nabbed Chand Singh after it recovered 800 prohibited pharma pills from the accused.

All accused have been arrested under the provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

In a separate case, Police has arrested Ravi Kumar alias Bittu, a resident of ward number 9, Rania in district Sirsa after 5.10 gram heroin was recovered from his possession.
