Chandigarh, Sep 14 – Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr. Vipul Goel said that Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board will open outlets in all 22 districts of the state in a phased manner to promote Khadi.

The Industries Minister was addressing the people after unveiling the ‘Charkha’, a symbol of Khadi, at Sector 1, 2, 5 and 6 Chowk of Panchkula in the Golden Jubilee Year of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, at Panchkula today. An amount of about Rs 13 lakh has been spent by the Board on this Charkha made of stainless steel.
He said that the first Khadi sales centre was opened in Panchkula last year and in view of its positive results, a second outlet will be opened in Jhajjar this year. He also presented a letter of approval to Jhajjar's female entrepreneur, Ms. Somvati for this outlet. Apart from this, orders for supply of Khadi products have been received in the Police Department and Jail Canteen and it will be started soon.

Mr. Goel said that the charkha is the symbol of independence and Khadi. He said that the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi is a world-class brand ambassador of Khadi, who has launched a new campaign to promote Khadi. He said that in the last five years, due to the efforts of Prime Minister, 37 per cent growth has been registered in Khadi village industry whereas from the year 2004 to 2014, this growth was only 6.7 per cent. He said that Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, had started the movement of Charkha and Khadi to get freedom and after that, now the Prime Minister has taken a meaningful initiative in getting Khadi a special recognition at world level.

MLA Panchkula, Mr. Gian Chand Gupta said that till now, this chowk was known as Bella Vista chowk but now it will be known as Charkha chowk.

Chairperson of Chairperson, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, Mrs Gargi Kakkar also spoke on this occasion.

Haryana Government has decided to enhance the remuneration of Assistant Manager (MIS) from Rs 22,050 per month to Rs 36,050 per month.

Chandigarh, Sep 14– Haryana Government has decided to enhance the remuneration of Assistant Manager (MIS) from Rs 22,050 per month to Rs 36,050 per month. The benefit will be given to 1487 posts of School Information Manager (SIM) with effect from April 1, 2019.

While stating this here today, the Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has approved 64 per cent increase in remuneration of SIMs and it also include the medical allowance of Rs 1000. This decision will cause financial burden of Rs 12.20 crore on state exchequer.

Haryana Government has decided to grant arrears of 7th Pay Commission to the employees of Cooperative Sugar Mills with effect from August 1, 2017.

Chandigarh, Sep 14– Haryana Government has decided to grant arrears of 7th Pay Commission to the employees of Cooperative Sugar Mills with effect from August 1, 2017. Apart from this, it has also been decided to increase the monthly wages of daily wagers working in the cooperative sugar mills by 14.29 per cent.

While stating this here today, the Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that the payment of arrears of 7th Pay Commission on account of revision of pay scales from January 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017 to the employees of all the cooperative sugar mills of Haryana.

He said that at present there 672 number of daily wagers working in all the cooperative sugar mills. The monthly wages of daily wagers working in the cooperative sugar mills will be increased by 14.29 per cent on the basis/pattern of remuneration/honorarium enhanced by the government in respect of Guest Teachers. It will lead to financial implication of about Rs 90 lakh per annum.

Chandigarh, Sep 14– Haryana Government has decided to grant uniform allowance of Rs 3000 annually to the police personnel from the rank of constable to head constable and Rs 4000 annually to the police personnel from the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector to Inspector instead of uniform articles.

While stating this here today, the Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal had approved a proposal to this effect. The total financial implication will be around Rs 14.61 lakh, he added.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that these posts would be filled through Haryana Staff Selection Commission. A proposal to this effect has been approved by the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, he added.

Chandigarh, Sep 14– Haryana Government has enhanced the honorarium of anganwadi workers, mini anganwadi workers and helpers.

While stating this here today, the Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that there are total 51,412 anganwadi workers in the state and this decision will involve financial implication of over Rs 21.60 crore.

Giving detailed information in this regard, he said that there are 17,192 anganwadi workers having experience of 10 years and their honorarium has been increased from Rs 11,429 to 11,811, which will involve financial implication of over Rs 7.88 crore. Similarly, there are 8,258 anganwadi workers having experience of below 10 years and 512 mini anganwadi workers, whose honorarium has been increased from Rs 10,286 to 10,632, which will involve financial implication of over Rs 3.42 crore and Rs 21.25 lakh, respectively. He said that there are 25,450 anganwadi helpers and their honorarium has been increased from Rs 5,715 to Rs 6,045, which will involve financial implication of over Rs 10.07 crore.
