Chandigarh,16.09.19-Today, 16.09.2019, on the occasion of 550th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and World Ozone day, State Bank of India,promoted its sustainability initiative by doing a tree plantation at Government College for Girls at Sector-14 Panchkula.

Shri Lalit Mohan (Deputy General Manager) Admin Office, Panchkula, started the drive by planting tree at the college’s campus. Speaking on the occasion Shri Lalit Mohan highlighted that being the no. 1 bank of India, State Bank has taken lead in sustainability initiative in protecting the environment. He also told that the sustainability is one of the core value of State Bank of India.

Ms Indira Goyal, Principal, Government college for Girls Sector-14, Panchkula, lauded the efforts made by SBI by having mass tree plantation programme for protecting the environment. On this occasion Shri Vinay Kumar, Regional Manager, RBO Panchkula and other SBI officials from Admin Office Panchkula and staff of college along with students were also present.
