During the visit, the Administrator inspected the Japanese Garden, Sector 31, and the Garden of Palms, Sector 42, including the Sector-42 Lake. He reviewed the park facilities and directed the concerned departments to improve the maintenance of walking tracks, benches and fencing, ensure cleanliness, and maintain adequate water levels in the lake.

वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए केंद्र शासित प्रदेश चंडीगढ़ हेतु कुल बजट अनुमान ₹6,545.52 करोड़ प्रस्तुत किए गए हैं, जिनमें राजस्व मद ₹5,939.52 करोड़ तथा पूंजीगत मद ₹606.00 करोड़ शामिल हैं। यह राशि वर्ष 2025-26 के बजट अनुमान ₹6,983.18 करोड़ (राजस्व ₹6,185.18 करोड़ एवं पूंजीगत ₹798.00 करोड़) की तुलना में ₹437.66 करोड़ कम है।
