The Faculty Association of PGIMER is an esteemed organization that aims to promote academic excellence, research, and professional development among its members, while also actively engaging in social initiatives that contribute positively to the community.

The event was inaugurated by Dr Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER. He appreciated that it is commendable that faculty are coming forward for blood donation despite their busy schedules. Prof Sadhna Bhasin Lal was the first donor of the day. There were a total of 80 voluntary blood donations and about 25 volunteers were rejected either because of helath conditions or because of low Hemoglobin. There was simultaneous counselling going on for organ donation by ROTTO.
The Faculty Association extends its gratitude to all the donors, volunteers, organizers and SBI PGI who helped make the blood donation camp a resounding success. Their dedication and generosity have undoubtedly touched countless lives and will continue to do so in the future.
