CHANDIGARH, 13.04.24-Vitreoretinal services at the Advanced Eye Centre, PGI Chandigarh organized the 4th Retinal Imaging Symposium (RISHI) and 2nd Retina Fellows Retreat (RFR) from 12th to 14th April 2024. This unique meeting was targeted on the under-training vitreo-retinal surgery fellows and early career retina specialists to get them up to date on the current best practices in retinal imaging and practice management.

The meeting had participation of over 200 national and international delegates out of which 43 were under training fellows who got to interact with over 50 senior faculty members including 11 world renowned international faculty.

The meeting featured the inaugural Prof. Amod Gupta RFR Mentor of the Year Award and Oration which was delivered by Dr. Anita Agarwal from San Francisco, USA and the inaugural Prof. M. R. Dogra Mentee of the Year Award based on a case competition between the vitreo-retinal surgery fellows. The meeting also featured 2 dedicated workshops on optical coherence tomography and visual electrophysiology where delegates got to understand the minute details of these modalities and their application in day-to-day practice for better patient care.
