CHANDIGARH,19.04.24-Dr. Anshika Chauhan, a Research Associate with Prof Arnab Pal, Department of Biochemistry PGIMER, Chandigarh, has been honored with the prestigious Women in Cancer Research Scholar Award by the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR). This recognition highlights her significant contributions to the field of cancer research.

Dr. Chauhan was presented with the Women in Cancer Research Scholar Award during the AACR 2024 Annual Conference held between April 5th and 10th, 2024 in San Diego, California, United States. The AACR awards this distinction to meritorious early-career scientists who demonstrate exceptional qualifications and potential professional benefit in the field of cancer research. One of the key factors in her selection for the award was her remarkable work on understanding the biology of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and identifying novel Liquid Biopsy-based biomarkers by analyzing gene expression of CTCs.
