One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Chandigarh Police arrested Mukesh Kumar R/o # 1611 Village Kishangarh Chandigarh age-29 yrs while he was consuming liquor and creating nuisance at public place near Om nursery Village Kishangarh Chandigarh on 19-01-2025. In this regard, a case FIR No. 06, U/S 68-1(B) PP Act has been registered in PS-IT-Park, Chandigarh. Later on he was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No 07 U/S 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station Ind./Area Chandigarh on the complaint of Anurag Kawra R/o # 2282 Sector 19 Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away bag of jewellery containing gold Neckless, gold ear ring , gold ring, gold nose pin, gold tika, silver anklet and silver pinch from community centre Sector 30/B Chandigarh on 17.01.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Robbery

A Case FIR No 10 U/S 311, 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Money Kumar R/o # 3113 Sector 25 Chandigarh against 4 unknown motorcyclist no CH01-AZ6617, Complainant stated that on 18.01.2025 he was going to towards Shahpur lights and reached near bus stop Sector 38 at 9.00 pm 04 boys on motorcycle came to him and restraint his way asked to handover cash, when he denied then they stabbed him on thigh, hand and snatched his mobile phone, purse contains documents cash 200/Rs. and fled away. Investigation of this case is in progress.

CHANDIGARH, 20.01.25-In a major breakthrough, PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP U.T. Chandigarh in the supervision of Ms.Sita Devi, Dy. SP DCC and team headed by Sh. Sher Singh, Inspector/Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest proclaimed offender/absconders.

Detail of arrested person: -

  1. The state case POs namely Sumit S/o Suraj Kumar R/o # 111, AKS 1, Zirakpur, Punjab have been arrested from Zirakpur near Paras Mall in case FIR No. 108 dt.12.04.2019 u/s 379,411 IPC, PS-17, Chandigarh. He was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh.Ajay, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 13.01.2025. He was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court of Ms.Riffi Bhatti, JMIC, Chandigarh and sent to judicial custody.
  2. One Conditional warrant executed with arrest of accused namely Gulam Sabri S/o Gulzar Sabri R/o Beed Ahmedgarh, Malerkotla, Punjab in case registered Crl.Misc.923/2024 21 Rule 10 Cr.P.C. The accused was produced before the Hon’ble court of Ms.Robina Joshan, JMIC and bailed out.
