One arrested in NDPS/Act

Chandigarh Police arrested one lady R/o # Sector 38/A Chandigarh near bus stop Sector-37/B Chandigarh on 13.05.2025 and recovered 5.5 Gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No 61 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Three arrested in Theft Case

A Case FIR No 51 U/S 303(2), 324(4), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Jai Parkash Upadhaya R/o # 437/1 EWS Flat Maloya, Chandigarh against Kuldip @ Mandi, Ranjeet and others, they broken his car window and attempted to burn it near his residence. They stole his wallet containing his Aadhar card, Cheque book etc from the dashboard of his car on 13.05.2025. During investigation, Kuldeep, Shiva and Ranjeet are arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in Accident/ Motor Vehicle Act

A Case FIR No 35 U/S 281 BNS & 185 MV Act has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady Sector 29/C Chandigarh against Yadram R/o # Village Mehmal District Panchkula Haryana driver of Aura car no HR- 68C-0322 who hit the wall from his car and hit her activa no CH01AV-4259 which parked inside her house on 12.05.2025. During investigation, accused Yadram was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No 49 U/S 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sector 27/A Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away 3 silver tea sets, 2 sugar pot, 2 milk jug, milk pot, silver plate, butter dish sauce boat and 2 silver bowls etc from her house after broken the lock on 13.05.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 35 U/S 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station IT-Park Chandigarh on the complaint of Ramil Bhatia Junior Engineer road Sub Division No. 3, Sector-9, Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away Led TV, Inverter Batteries and 3 tire Rehire from back side Sukhna Lake Radical gate Kishangarh on the night intervening 11/12/5/2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 52 U/S 305(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Jagtar Singh Supervisor bus Solution Private Limited Company Phase-8 plot no C-127 Mohali against unknown person who stole away some accessory from Airtel Tower D no 137071 in Maloya which was placed on 22.04.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 53 U/S 305(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Jagtar Singh Supervisor bus Solution Private Limited Company Phase-8 plot no C-127 Mohali against unknown person who stole away some accessory from Indus Tower ID no 137071 in Village Dadu Majra Chandigarh which was placed on 22.04.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 55 U/S 319(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2), 111(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Cell Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jitender Walia R/o # 1679 Sector 22, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant Rs. 4,10,000/- regarding investment through online. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 56 U/S 319(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Cell Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Balwant R/o # 1231 Phase 1 Ramdarbar, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant Rs. 25,54000/- from his account.
