Panchkula, June 10, 2025: On the occasion of World Brain Tumor Day, Paras Health Panchkula reiterates its commitment to advanced neuro care and early diagnosis of brain tumors through expert-led clinical excellence and community awareness.

Brain tumors can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated on time. With advancements in neurosurgery, including minimally invasive techniques and neuronavigation systems, early intervention can drastically improve patient outcomes. Paras Health Panchkula has been at the forefront in providing comprehensive treatment for brain tumors, backed by an experienced team of neurosurgeons and state-of-the-art technology.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashish Gupta, Senior Director, Neurosurgery, said: “The key to fighting brain tumors lies in timely diagnosis and a multidisciplinary approach. With symptoms like persistent headaches, vision disturbances, or seizures, people should not delay medical evaluation. At Paras Health, we combine clinical expertise with cutting-edge neuroimaging and surgical precision to offer the best possible outcomes for our patients.”

Adding his perspective, Dr. Anil Dhingra, Director, Neurosurgery, emphasized: “We are witnessing a rise in brain tumor cases, and many of them are operable if detected early. Our goal is to create awareness and reduce the stigma around neurological conditions.’’ Recalling a case of a 29 year old male patient, resident of Panchkula,(*name withheld to protect privacy), who presented to the emergency with severe, unbearable headaches, vomiting and altered sensorium, Dr Dhingra said that upon reviewing the MRI, they found that he had a very large tumor (6 cm x 6.5 cm) in the right frontal lobe of the brain.

Due to the size and complexity of the tumor, the surgery lasted for 24 hours. The surgery was successful and the tumor was completely excised, and the patient is leading a normal life and is able to perform his duties. ‘’Through our integrated neuro care services, we ensure that patients receive holistic and compassionate treatment—from diagnosis to rehabilitation”, said Dr Dhingra.

Paras Health Panchkula continues to lead the way in neurological sciences, offering 24x7 neurosurgical emergency support, intraoperative monitoring, and personalized care plans for each patient.

On this World Brain Tumor Day, the hospital urges the community to prioritize neurological health and seek timely consultation for any concerning symptoms.
