Kheri Gurna (BANNUR)01.10.25- A Freshers' Party was organized at SD college, Kheri Gurna on 1^st Oct 2025 to welcome the new batch. The main objective of the program was to acquaint the newcomers with the college environment and promote their creativity as well as boost their confidence. The college management and members of faculty welcomed the new students with great enthusiasm.

(Maj) Dr. Virender Singh, Principal of the college delivered the welcome address in which he wished them all the best for a bright future and ensured them that SD family is one family and all activities will be celebrated under one SD unit. Students performed in various cultural activities and mesmerized the audience. The main attraction of this entire program was modelling which was done by the newcomers.

Based on the questions asked to these students and considering their all-round personality, Taksh and Kajal of B.Com 1^st sem were selected as Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher respectively. Harvinder Puri and Anjali Kumari of BBA 1^st sem bagged the titles of Mr. and Ms. Confident. Sukhvir Singh of B.Com 1^st sem and Kiranpreet Kaur of BBA 1^st sem were declared as Mr. Handsome and Ms. Charming. The party concluded with sumptuous lunch and a DJ Party.
