CHANDIGARH, 18.12.25-St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, transformed into a vibrant realm of colour, creativity and pure childhood magic as the Kindergarten Block presented Rhythmic Beats, an annual showcase that celebrated the limitless wonder of young minds. The morning opened with an atmosphere brimming with warmth and anticipation as the Management and Principal welcomed the Chief Guest, Sh. Anup Kumar Soni, Conservator of Forest and Additional Director, Department of Environment, UT Chandigarh, who was warmly presented with an eco-friendly planter, symbolising the school’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability and mindful living.
The presence of Special Invitees from our partner schools added grace to the occasion. Principals and Heads from GMHS-53, GMSSS-37D, GMHS-Karsan, GMSSS-45C, Vatika Special School (19B) and the Superintendent , Observation-cum-Special Home-25 appreciated the initiative and encouraged the young performers for their confidence and creativity.
A radiant balloon release marked the ceremonial beginning, setting the sky dancing with colour that depicted a perfect reflection of the day’s joyous spirit.
Environmental consciousness took centre stage with Pre-KG A’s impactful act Save Water – Every Drop Counts. This was followed by the delightful vibrancy of KG-A’s Circus, and a cheerful round of jokes that added sparkle to the atmosphere.
The stage soon blossomed with Nursery-B’s Petals of Happiness, the soulful Celebration of Blessings by Pre-KG C, and an engaging interlude featuring the Demons of Ramayana. Courage and patriotism shone through KG-D’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, complemented by a quick-witted coding-decoding filler.
The littlest stars — the Toddlers — captured hearts with The Bumblebee’s Belief, and a beautiful tribute to dedication followed through Pre-KG E’s expressive Eklavya Act.
Principal Ms Monica Chawla presented the Annual School Report brimming with accolades, highlighting the school’s exceptional milestone of 617 Inter-School Achievements, in this session till date, which is a proud testament to 359 achievers, 153 individual sports champions and 105 students who excelled across 15 victorious teams.
The finale unfolded with Nursery-D’s touching A Celebration of Gratitude, Pre-KG B’s uplifting The Unstoppable Spirit, and the grand cultural crescendo — KG-B’s Punjab di Shaan – Giddha-Bhangra, which filled the audience with rhythmic joy, infectious energy and the timeless exuberance of Punjabi folklore.
