MAHENDERGARH, 26.12.25-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, in collaboration with the Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Malda Bas, organized a special event on Veer Bal Diwas. The aim of the celebration was to honour the unparalleled courage, sacrifice, and devotion of the Sahibzadas — the sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji — and to inspire young students to imbibe the spirit of patriotism, righteousness, and selfless service to the nation.
Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, in his message, paid heartfelt tribute to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, his four Sahibzadas, and their entire family, emphasizing that true patriotism and adherence to one’s faith are the greatest virtues in life. He urged students to follow these timeless values for the nation’s progress and moral strength.
Registrar of the University, Prof. Suneel Kumar, addressed the gathering and said that the ultimate duty of every citizen is to protect the nation’s dignity and uphold ethical values. He congratulated Dr. Suman Rani, Convener of the Swami Dayanand Saraswati Peeth, for organizing such a meaningful event that connects education with moral awakening.
The program commenced with lamp lighting and the national anthem, followed by soulful recitations, group songs, and student performances narrating the bravery of the Sahibzadas. Dr. R.N. Yadav, senior educationist and President Awardee, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the historical significance of Veer Bal Diwas and its message for today’s youth. Principal Shri Om Kumar Yadav appreciated CUH’s efforts in nurturing value-based education and strengthening community engagement.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Suman Rani, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, teachers, and students for their participation and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to promoting cultural and moral awareness through such initiatives.
