MAHENDERGARH, 22.01.26-The Training and Placement Cell of the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized a Transformation & Rejuvenation Workshop on Employability Skills in collaboration with North Terrace Ventures. The workshop was conducted for students of all streams with the objective of enhancing career readiness and aligning academic learning with industry expectations. Approximately 180 students actively participated in the workshop.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor emphasized the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its increasing integration into the real-world corporate environment. He encouraged students to develop a balanced approach by combining technological competence with practical corporate skills to succeed in the evolving professional landscape.
The programme was inaugurated with an inaugural address by Dr. Vikash Siwach, who highlighted the importance of continuous skill development and self-transformation in today’s competitive job market. The industry experts—Mr. Varun Pathak, Ms. Mallika Taneja, and Mr. Ashish Kapila—conducted insightful and interactive sessions focusing on communication skills, practical knowledge, and the relevance of AI in improving employability. Their real-world examples and industry-oriented guidance provided valuable exposure to the students.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Divya, Director, Training and Placement Cell, who acknowledged the valuable contributions of the resource persons, university leadership, faculty members, and students. The event was effectively coordinated by Dr. Sushil and Dr. Suyash, Deputy Directors, Training and Placement Cell. Student coordinators Ayushman and Sumit played a key role in coordinating with students and ensuring smooth conduct of the programme.
