JULLUNDUR, 07.02.26-Lovely Professional University (LPU) recently concluded a well-structured four-week Personal Contact Programme (PCP) aimed at enhancing academic excellence and conceptual clarity among its Distance Education students. The programme witnessed the active involvement of nearly 150 experienced faculty members, who delivered interactive and insightful sessions for more than 300 courses. Designed around carefully curated instructional plans, the sessions ensured comprehensive coverage of the syllabus, enabling students to gain a holistic understanding of their respective subjects.

The programme received enthusiastic participation from thousands of students representing diverse geographical regions. Participants greatly benefited from personalized academic counselling provided by LPU’s subject experts, which helped address individual queries, strengthen conceptual foundations, and enhance overall learning outcomes.

Founder chancellor of LPU Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal stated The PCP covered Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma programmes across a wide range of disciplines, including Management, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Commerce, Library and Information Sciences, Economics, Education, English, Hindi, Punjabi, History, Political Science, and Sociology. The programme attracted a diverse learner base comprising working professionals and government employees, who successfully balanced their professional responsibilities while actively engaging in the sessions.

Highlighting the success of the initiative, the Director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education reaffirmed LPU’s commitment to empowering learners through innovative and inclusive educational practices. Admissions for LPU Distance Education programmes namely MBA, BBA, DBA, MCA, BCA, DCA, M.Sc.(IT), B.Sc.(IT), M.Com., B.Com., M.A. (Economics, Education, English, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Political Science, Sociology, Punjabi), B.A., MLIS, BLIS, and DLIS are currently open for the January February 2026 session.
