Chandigarh: 29th April, 2026:The Department of Electrical Engineering at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, organised an expert lecture on Embedded Architecture by alumnus Mr. Nikhil Arora (EED, 2017 Batch), Firmware Engineer at Everpure Storage Systems, Pure Storage.
The session was attended by Dr. Jaimala Jindal and Prof. Rintu Khanna, Head of the Department. Mr. Arora explained key concepts using practical examples and traced the evolution of embedded CPUs. He also discussed event-handling methods such as Polling, Interrupts, Deferred Polling, and DMA. The session provided valuable industry insights and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.
