Over 50+ international exchange students from Spain, Brazil, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and Russia are part of the current exchange cohort on campus. Representing leading institutions such as the University of Alcalá (Spain), UNESP São Paulo State University (Brazil), ITMO University (Russia), Moscow Pedagogical State University (Russia), Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University LETI (Russia), West Visayas State University (Philippines), and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Malaysia), the cohort reflects a strong and diverse global academic presence.
Anchoring this academic engagement is LPU’s Edu Revolution Projects, an innovation driven framework that seamlessly blends interdisciplinary learning with real world problem solving. Complementing their academic experience is a thoughtfully designed cultural immersion that offers a deeper understanding of India’s rich heritage. From yoga sessions and Indian culinary experiences to traditional dance workshops, students are engaging with diverse cultural expressions. Their journey further includes visits to iconic destinations such as the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden, and Rishikesh, alongside participation in festivities celebrations a holistic and memorable global learning experience.
In parallel, over 100+ LPU students are also benefiting from global mobility opportunities across countries including the USA, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, Australia, France, Estonia, Russia, Malaysia, Spain, Lithuania, Italy, South Korea, and Poland. Enabled through scholarships and strategic academic collaborations, these experiences are shaping globally aware, research oriented individuals prepared for international academic and professional environments.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and Founder Chancellor of LPU, stated that LPU’s global initiatives are designed to enable academic co-creation, where international students actively engage in research, critical inquiry, and problem solving within diverse learning environments. Dr. Mittal emphasised that such engagements build the capacity to address complex global challenges through collaborative and well informed perspectives.
Dr. Aman Mittal, Vice President of LPU, emphasised that internationalization at LPU is rooted in academically integrated global engagement rather than standalone mobility. He stated that exposure to diverse academic systems enables students to refine their thinking, strengthen research orientation, and develop a more nuanced understanding of knowledge across global contexts.
