Chandigarh, 4 August 2026 — Reliance Jio has added the highest number of active mobile (wireless) subscribers in Punjab in June 2026, according to the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report. Jio's active (VLR) mobile subscriber base rose by a massive 3,64,196 to 1,20,69,861, the second-ranked active base in the circle with a 35.3% share. Active subscribers are calculated as mobile subscribers on the date of peak VLR.

Jio's mobile subscriber base stood at 1,17,69,733 at the end of June (a 33.0% share of the circle's 3,56,12,786 wireless subscribers). Jio's VLR (active-to-total subscribers) ratio in Punjab was an impressive 102.55%.

Further, driving digital inclusion in the vast urban and rural areas across Punjab, Reliance Jio has now connected more than 1.3 million houses and business premises in the state with its high-speed broadband and world class home entertainment by rapidly expanding its JioFiber and JioAirFiber services.
